BioShield 75 prevents the growth of an amazingly wide array of bacteria, mold, mildew, algae and yeast. BioShield 75 acts like a bed of microscopic spikes and pierce the cell walls of microbes. BioShield 75 is a totally new approach to providing long lasting Antimicrobial Protection.
BioShield 75 is unique. One end of its molecule creates a strong bond with a multitude of surfaces, porous and non-porous, forming a highly durable protective coating. The other end of the molecule forms a microscopic bed of spikes that punctures microbes like a bed of nails. BioShield 75 physically ruptures the cell walls of these microbes, without the use of poisons. Since BioShield 75’s methodology is mechanical instead of a poison, it does not create “superbugs”, which are microbes that build up a resistance to treatment.
BioShield 75’s molecular spikes are long carbon chains that are large enough to pierce the cell walls of various microbes. Being only about one thousandth the diameter of a human hair, they are too small to harm large cells in mammals. These chains of atoms carry a strong positive charge that attracts negatively charged bacteria. BioShield 75 has been found in independent testing to be effective against a wide array of microbes, including Staphylococcus aureus, E.coli, various Salmonella strains, black mold, athlete’s foot, skin infections, and others.

BioShield®75 technology is a spray-on antimicrobial protection for porous,
and non-porous surfaces.
BioShield®75 antimicrobial protection gives substrates
an added level of protection against damaging microbes such as, bacteria, mold
and mildew that can cause stains, odors and product deterioration.
Q: How does
BioShield®75 antimicrobial protection work?
A: The active ingredient in the
BioShield®75 forms a colorless, odorless,
positively charged polymer, which chemically bonds to the treated surface. You
could think of it as a layer of electrically charged swords. When a
microorganism comes in contact with the treated surface, the quaternary amine
sword punctures the cell membrane and the electrical charge shocks the cell.
Since nothing is transferred to the now dead cell, the antimicrobial doesn’t
lose strength and the sword is ready for the next cell to contact it. Note that
in order for the
BioShield®75 antimicrobials to continue their effectiveness,
normal cleaning of treated surfaces is necessary. Dirt buildup, paint, dead
microbes, etc. will cover the treatment prohibiting it from killing
microorganisms.

A: No.
BioShield®75 protection provides continuous antimicrobial protection that
protects the surfaces in your home, helping to make them easier to clean and

should be maintained.

BioShield®75 protection begin working immediately?

BioShield®75 protection begins to work as soon as the microorganism comes
into contact with the product surface. It then works continuously to maintain a
consistently lower bio-burden than would be expected on a surface without
BioShield®75 antimicrobial protection. Under the right conditions, microbes on
an untreated surface can double every 20 minutes!
BioShield®75 technology is not
a disinfectant and is not a substitute for normal cleaning practices.

BioShield®75 protection is applied to the surface and will not wash off.
BioShield®75 protection is engineered to provide continuous antimicrobial
product protection for ninety (90) days or greater, keeping the products in your

Q: Has anyone ever gotten sick from using products with

A: Extensive testing and a long use history have shown
BioShield®75 surface
protection to be safe. While it is impossible to say that no one will ever
experience an allergic reaction to anything, it is highly unlikely a negative
experience would be observed.
Q: Does the use of antimicrobials cause resistant strains of microorganisms?
A: No. since this is a mechanical action there is no opportunity for cell
adaptation or mutation.
